Recreation at Northfield Mountain
Northfield Mountain offers a variety of opportunities for outdoor recreation. Twenty-five miles of wide trails welcome horse riders, hikers, mountain bikers, runners, snowshoers, and cross-country skiers. The trails system connects with the tri-state Metacomet-Monadnock Trail, which runs from southern Connecticut to southern New Hampshire. Northfield Mountain hosts snowshoe, running, and other competitions several times a year. More information can be found from Northfield Mountain Nordic Ski Patrol and FirstLight Power Resources.
